Hal is a massage therapist specializing in 3-D Manual Therapy: Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofascial Therapy, Advanced Clinical-Sports Stretching, and Kinesiology Taping. He is also trained in manual lymph drainage techniques. His combination of various myofascial techniques help reduce pain and increase range of motion. Hal uses a form of kinesiology taping by Rocktape called Fascial Movement Taping that is specifically designed for optimizing movement while minimizing pain. These methods contribute to a better quality of life, faster recovery, and peak athletic performance.
Biography
Hal has been working as a massage therapist since 1996 and has over 25 years of experience. He has used his extensive knowledge as a board-approved continuing education provider and was a member of the Alabama Board of Massage for 9 years. Additionally, he has served as the team massage therapist for track & field teams and swim & dive teams at multiple major universities. Since 2003, he has worked as the massage therapist at multiple Conference Championships and even National Championships in these sports. Hal was a selected medical staff member for Team USA Track and Field as a massage therapist. He has since traveled with the team to 5 World Championships in addition to the 2012 Olympics in London and the 2016 Olympics in Rio to provide his services and help the team reach peak performance.
