Friendly Reminder: Most insurance plans start over January 1st, which also means deductibles and visit limits will reset for the year. It is always a good idea to familiarize yourself with your insurance plan. Good Bye Brittany!

After a year with Agile we say farewell to Brittany. She will be returning back to Washington state to be closer to her family. Along with all of you we will miss her dearly! We wish her the best in her future endeavors.


Alabama is one of only 6 states were physical therapy is limited on the state level that only allows access to evaluation, fitness & wellness, and limited treatment restricted to patients with a previous medical diagnosis or subject of a previous physician referral. The Alabama American Physical Therapy Association is pushing for easier access to physical therapy for the people of Alabama. This is how you can help:


Now that the elections are over, the Alabama Physical Therapy Association is ready to move forward with the legislative change that will improve direct access in Alabama.

We are excited about this legislative push, but we need your help in order to be successful. What I need from you is to click on the link below to find out who the legislators are in your area. This is important as we build our grassroots networks and key contacts.

Recipe Corner

Dutch Apple Pie

Prep Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins


  • Store bought or homemade

  • 8 cups Granny Smith apples. cored (peeled, cored, and sliced)

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

  • 3/4 cup White sugar

  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup Flour

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

  • 1 cup Flour

  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup White sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup Butter (cold)


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Roll our crust and place it in the bottom of a pie pan.

  • In a mixing bowl put all filling ingredients, and mix until apples are coated. Pour filling into crust.

  • In a separate mixing bowl use a fork to combine all topping ingredients until the mixture is well combined and crumbly. Pour this onto your apple pie.

  • Bake for 50-55 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
