  • Originally from Alabaster, AL

  • Samantha was Head Cheerleader at Thompson High School from 2000-2001 and 2002-2003. She competed in local and national cheerleading competitions from 1999-2003 and was awarded UCA All-Star Cheerleader 2001 and 2003

  • Following high school graduation and before entering Auburn University, she was a consult choreographer for the Savanna Tag Cheer Angels in Weston, FL

  • Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2007 with a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. While at Auburn, she was a Student Ambassador for the School of Kinesiology

  • Samantha received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UAB in 2011. She was the secretary for the UAB Student PT Association and was on the Transdiciplinary Team for which she was a grant recipient

  • She has been working in sports medicine and orthopedics as well as rehabilitation of dance, cheerleading, gymnastic and running related injuries. She has also worked with infants and adolescents with developmental delays and congenital abnormalities. 

  • She was a consult PT for Alvin Ailey II Dance Company in 2014, Legacy Gymnastics in 2015,  as well as the 2017 Kinky Boots and  2018 Book of Mormon Broadway shows.

  • She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Fascial Movement Taping as well as trained in Running Video Gait Analysis and Instrument Assisted Manual Therapy

  • Samantha uses a variety of manual approaches to improve her patient's symptoms including Muscle Energy Techniques , Joint Mobilization/Manipulation, and Myofascial Release/Soft tissue mobilization

  • Since joining Agile in September 2016, she is pursuing her Balanced Body certifications in Pilates Reformer, Chair, and Trapeze Table along with Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation through the Institute of Physical Art 

  • She is married to her high school sweetheart Joe and they have 3 boys, Brooks, Brady, Bennett, and a dog named Dexter.

  • In her spare time, Samantha enjoys being outdoors, taking her boys to the park, hiking, working out, traveling, cooking/baking, spending time with family and friends, and watching Auburn football...War Eagle!!
